Kunstverein KunstHaus Potsdam e.V. shows international and regional contemporary art in alternating exhibitions. With a varied programme of guided tours, talks with artists, discussions and readings, the association contributes to the cultural diversity of the state capital, promoting a stimulating discourse on questions relating to contemporary art.
The light-flooded art room is particularly suitable for this purpose: it was designed by the artists Hubertus von der Goltz and Frank Michael Zeidler using the former equine hospital of the Guards Uhlans barracks. Now a listed building, the ensemble houses not just the exhibition hall itself but also several artist’s studios.
